Wisconsin Congregational Ministers Association

Articles of Association

 

The Wisconsin Congregational Ministerial Association was formed in 1965 to provide ministerial fellowship,

mental stimulation, spiritual inspiration and professional improvement for all its members

and to establish and record members' qualifications and professional standing.

The Ministerial Association meets regularly throughout the year and invites all Congregational ministers in Wisconsin

to participate in its activities.  A schedule of meetings and activities is listed below.

Program: The program will be presented by Bridgette Hensley, Psy.D. Counselor/Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator Marquette University Counseling Center who will be leading a training program on QPR.

What Is QPR? QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer—3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Lunch: Lunch will be at the White Fox Den in Waterford - about 2 mi. from the church on Hwy 36. Large menu, good food, and reasonably priced.

FALL MEETINGS

September 10, 2008

at FCC Wauwatosa.

The plan is to have a program to discuss the consolidation committee report consolidating the WCA and the WCMA.

We will also have an election of officers.
