Pray for these churches

May 18, 2017

First Congregational Church of Dalton – Pastor Brenda Grams has been the part time pastor since 2007. She pastors at both FCC Dalton and a United Methodist Church, each with 15-20 attending worship on Sunday.  They are working on filling backpacks for needy school children.  Please pray for the upcoming United Methodist conference that Pastor Brenda will be attending.  The backpack ministry is part of this conference.  Pastor Brenda’s best takeaway from the WCA Leadership Conference was the welcoming friendliness of the people she met.

Plymouth Congregational Church of Kenosha – Pastor Nick Campbell’s best takeaway from the WCA Leadership Conference was the concept of Bless and Add.  He really enjoyed our speaker Pastor Tim Roberts.  PCC Kenosha has 2 important events coming up the first weekend in June:  on Saturdaythey team up with sister church Plymouth Congregational in Racine to have a Serve Day in Kenosha to work in and around Plymouth of Kenosha and the surrounding community.  On Sunday, they will have an all church meeting to discuss the vision and mission of the church; this discussion is completely lay lead by the Diaconate Board.  Pastor Nick also looks forward to a Sept pulpit exchange with Pastor Kevin Clark of Mukwonago.  Please pray for God to continue to reveal Himself in mighty and powerful ways to PCC Kenosha.

Pilgrim Congregational Church of Green Bay – Pastor Mark’s best takeaway from the WCA Leadership Conference was the concept of Bless and Add.  This amazing message came at the same time Pilgrim was making plans to roll out a third and added worship service, which will be on a Thursday evening.  Pastor Tim’s message helped to give clarity to the changes coming to Pilgrim.  Please pray for protection and wisdom as Pilgrim continues to seek God’s will for their future.
